![]() In the name of Allah the gracious the most merciful Mr, Ban Ki- Moon United nations Secretary General Subject/ Securing International protection to the Iraqi nation Mr Secretary General On the 25th of February, the whole of the Iraqi nation from north to south demonstrated in request of their basic rights which are stated in International treaties and resolutions and declared in the Iraqi constitutions articles. The Iraqi nation has expressed their demands in a civil and democratic way and the peaceful demonstrations which toured the country demanded political change and the end of the American occupation as well as putting an end to the Iranian influence to achieve freedom and sovereignty and accomplish democracy, social justice and equality as well as securing basic services and stop the violations and repressive practices and political terrorism against the Iraqi nation and bring to justice those who practice it. The Iraqi nation has clearly declared their rejection to the current political regime which spread bloody chaos and unlawful killing and organized torture. The demonstrating women demanded the release of their husbands and sons who are captivated on sectarian and revenge bases. The Iraqi nation rejects armed aspects and government immune militias and declares war against corruption and those who are corrupt and demands bringing them to justice. All these demands are legitimate and approved by the constitution and International human rights treaties. This uprising was faced with sadistic reaction by the government and live gun fire on the demonstrators which resulted in the killing and injuring of a large number of demonstrators who faced organized government terrorism to silence mouths and suppress the democratic will of the people. These incidents were mentioned in the consecutive reports by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch as well as Iraqi human rights and civil organizations and the national coordination of the Iraqi Revolution and were shown on different global media. The current Iraqi constitution states that the Iraqi nations rights are guaranteed and documented (Chapter two: rights and freedoms) and that the civil and political rights are secured- All Iraqis are equal in the eyes of the law without any discrimination on the bases of sex, ethnicity, nationality, origin, color, religion, sector, belief, view or economic and social status. According to Article (15): All individuals must have the right of life, security and freedom. It is unlawful to be deprived of these rights unless approved by the law. Article (37: one) states: a. The freedom and dignity of an individual is secured. b. No individual is to be detained or persecuted without a court order. c. All types of psychological and physical torture as well as inhuman treatments are prohibited and any statement taken under pressure or threat and torture is not taken into consideration. The state guarantees the protection of the individuals from forced intellectual, political and religious torture, provided it does not violate public order and morals. The affected party may claim compensation for material and moral damage according to the law. Article (38): First: Freedom of express in any form. Second: Freedom of press, printing, advertising, media and publishing. Third: freedom of gathering and peaceful demonstrations which is organized by law. Mr, Secretary General The devastated Iraqi people intend to strike in all Iraqi governorates and up rise on the 9th of September 2011to express their will and legitimate rights, requests International protection by the International society and members of the Security Council and International Committees. The Iraqi nation calls for the implementation and achievement of International and social justice and requests protection from political oppression and absolute organized brutality and unlawful killing as well as persistent and systematic torture and humiliating and harsh or brutal treatment which is degrading and all committed by the authority in Iraq without any legal accountability or global prosecution. These violations extend to crimes against humanity which is contradicting to all Human Rights International resolutions; at the top of which is the International Declaration for Human Rights. Ignorance of Human Rights had lead to barbaric acts which hurt the human conscious at a time where all people aim at a new world individuals enjoy the freedom of speech and belief and are free from fear and poverty. It is necessary that the law protects the individuals rights so that a person would not have to rebel against tyranny and injustice. People of the United Nations have committed and asserted in the resolution once again their belief in basic Human Rights and individuals dignity and that men and women have equal rights and are determined to raise the level of life in wider free environment. We remind your Excellency with parts of the Human Rights Declaration: Article One: People are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They have intellect and conscious and they have to treat each other with the spirit of brotherhood. Articles Two and Three: All individuals have the right to enjoy all rights and freedoms that are mentioned in this declaration without any discrimination due to race, colour, gender, language, religion, political or any other view, patriotic or social origin, wealth, birth or any other situation and without any discrimination between men and women. More over, there should not be any discrimination based on the political, legal or international situation of a country or the place to which the individual belongs, regardless of the state of this particular country or place (independent or under custody or does not enjoy self governing or its sovereignty is conditioned in any form): all individuals have the right to life and freedom and personal safety. Article Five and Nine: Any individual should not face torture or punishment or brutal and harsh or degrading treatment. No individual should be detained or arbitrarily exiled. May we draw your Excellencys attention to: Articles Twelve and Nineteen: No individual should be subjected to arbitrary intervention to his personal or family life or to his house and correspondences or face campaigns against his honor and reputation. All individuals have the right of opinion and express and the right to protect the law from such interventions or campaigns. All individuals have the right of opinion and expression which includes freedom of belief free of any intervention as well as the right to seek and receive feed back and broadcast in any type of media without being restricted to geographical boundaries. All the above articles (particularly, article twenty Five), confirms the Iraqi peoples rights and that each individual have the right of a decent life to maintain his life and prosperity as well as that of his family: this includes food and clothes as well as home and health care in addition to necessary social services. Individuals have the right of securing a living in the cases of unemployment, disability, widowing and old age in addition to losing means of living due to uncontrolled circumstances ( particularly, where the previous Secretary general representative have deliberately ignored the horrific crimes of and violations and torturing intimidations and suppressions of freedoms that the Iraqi nation face on daily bases. Mr, Secretary General We confirm our request of International protection to the Iraqi people against the oppression of the authority and their security forces and sectarian militias related to them. The Iraqi people intend to go to the streets on 9/9/2011 to declare their request of a political change and the legitimacy of their basic rights that have been ignored by the government which mislead the international society by the 100-days lie and the Government Limbering. No change has been made to the miserable Iraqi situation and the Iraqi people are suffering at the hands of the armed corruption mafia which steal public wealth through their parties and politicians. We confirm the declaration of dignity of all human race and their equal firm rights which make the base of world freedom and peace. It is one of the distinguished goals of the International Society to protect the Iraqi people from the political terrorism.
